JOIN Your Tree in the World!!!

Your Tree in the World is a project to protect the environment . We are a group of people who have long seen with great concern how our planet suffers the consequences of mismanagement of natural resources. As we know this creates considerable problems, all of which are severely harming our planet.

Faced with this problem, they evaluated numerous possibilities to do something to counter this situation and mitigate its effects – we found that we already have a formidable tool with which to do something: the Internet. Using the internet, we generated a call for citizen participation, a call to all people on our planet who feel the need to collaborate with a cause as important as this and are who willing to contribute their “grain of sand”

Within this framework, we started to develop a large afforestation project, which we call the The World Forest. It’s great to think about the immense potential that the internet gives us to collaborate within our planet and how wonderful it is to have a forest created by people from all over the World. We are able to provide our expertise in making The World Forest and to provide the physical place for it.

In times like these, which require action and change at a global level, it is essential to our active participation as people of the World, to encourage and develop strategies and projects to generate environmental behaviour change in society. There is no better example of participation and commitment than this project.

Solving environmental problems requires citizen participation, individually and collectively. This requires a real commitment of people step in and organise in pursuit of a goal. It requires extensive work to promote the creation and strengthening in the community of participation.

What can you do? Start recycling!

Recycling is one of the best ways for you to have a positive impact on the world in which we live. Recycling is important to both the natural environment and us. We must act fast as the amount of waste we create is increasing all the time.

The amount of rubbish we create is constantly increasing because:

  • Increasing wealth means that people are buying more products and ultimately creating more waste.
  • Increasing population means that there are more people on the planet to create waste.
  • New packaging and technological products are being developed, much of these products contain materials that are not biodegradable.
  • New lifestyle changes, such as eating fast food, means that we create additional waste that isn’t biodegradable.
 Environmental Importance

Recycling is very important as waste has a huge negative impact on the natural environment.

  • Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gasses are released from rubbish in landfill sites. Recycling helps to reduce the pollution caused by waste.
  • Habitat destruction and global warming are some the affects caused by deforestation. Recycling reduces the need for raw materials so that the rainforests can be preserved.
  • Huge amounts of energy are used when making products from raw materials. Recycling requires much less energy and therefore helps to preserve natural resources.
Importance To People

Recycling is essential to cities around the world and to the people living in them.

  • No space for waste.
  • Reduce financial expenditure in the economy. Making products from raw materials costs much more than if they were made from recycled products.
  • Preserve natural resources for future generations. Recycling reduces the need for raw materials; it also uses less energy, therefore preserving natural resources for the future.

Electric Cars

“The electrification of the automobile is inevitable.”

Bob Lutz
Vice Chairman, General Motors

Electric cars produce no tailpipe emissions, reduce our dependency on oil, and are cheaper to operate. Of course, the process of producing the electricity moves the emissions further upstream to the utility company’s smokestack—but even dirty electricity used in electric cars usually reduces our collective carbon footprint.

Another factor is convenience: In one trip to the gas station, you can pump 330 kilowatt-hours of energy into a 10-gallon tank. It would take about 9 days to get the same amount of energy from household electric current. Fortunately, it takes hours and not days to recharge an electric car, because it’s much more efficient. Speaking of convenience, let’s not forget two important points: charging up at home means never going to a gas station—and electric cars require almost none of the maintenance, like oil changes and emissions checks, that internal combustion cars require.Electric motors develop their highest torque from zero rpms—meaning fast (and silent) zero-to-60 acceleration times.
